MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota, March 22. SAN Diego State’s Anika Apostalon was the Swimoff Queen this week at the NCAA Division I Women’s Championships.

Apostalon went three-for-three in swimoffs this week. In an inventive setup, she leadoff SDSU’s 200 free relay that tied with Indiana with Texas’ Ellen Lobb swimming in the next lane as the duo also tied in the 50 free. Apostalon then won both before coming back with a 100 back swimoff the following day.

Apostalon is a two-sport star at SDSU, also competing in water polo.
